Since 1983, the Among Friends Meal Program has been providing free, nutritious meals and a welcoming place for people in the greater Newburyport community.
A ministry of St. Paul's Episcopal Church, Among Friends is built on a simple belief: everyone deserves good food, meaningful connection, and a place where they feel welcome.

We serve three free meals each week at St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Newburyport.
Monday Dinner: 5:00–6:00 PM
Tuesday Lunch: 11:30 AM–12:30 PM
Friday Lunch: 11:30 AM–12:30 PM
Dine in or take your meal to go.

What began as a small group of volunteers preparing meals for neighbors has grown into a vital community program.
Today, Among Friends serves approximately 420 freshly prepared meals each week, providing nourishment and companionship to people throughout the Newburyport area.
Our mission remains the same: to serve others with kindness, dignity, and compassion.
