The Easter Vigil

The Great Vigil of Easter is the most significant service of the entire year. It tells the whole story of salvation, and the actions we take in the liturgy participate in it—from light to darkness, from the font of our baptism to the altar of Christ’s sacrifice, we enter into the fullness of our life together at the Vigil and begin our celebration of Christ’s resurrection.
