Music at St. Paul's
Where Music Inspires Faith & Community
Music is an essential part of worship and community life at St. Paul's. Through hymns, choral music, and instrumental performances, we celebrate our faith, connect with one another, and experience the beauty of sacred music.
From traditional hymns to contemporary compositions, our music reflects the richness of the Christian tradition while welcoming everyone to participate.
Our Music Ministry
Bringing Worship to Life Through Music
Led by Music Director Mary Jodice, our music ministry enriches worship throughout the church year.
Through hymns, psalms, anthems, and sacred music, we seek to inspire reflection, encourage congregational singing, and celebrate the seasons of the Church.
Via email on most Friday mornings, Mary sends a write-up about some aspect of worship music at St. Paul’s. Very often it includes background information and a reflection about one of the hymns or other music that will be part of that Sunday’s worship service. Our Historic Instruments
A Rich Musical Heritage
St. Paul's is home to exceptional musical instruments that enrich worship and performances.
Our main sanctuary features a historic Austin pipe organ, built in 1923 and rebuilt in 2000, alongside a Steinway Model B concert grand piano.
St. Anna's Chapel is home to a beautifully restored 1863 William Stevens tracker organ and a grand piano.
Together with the remarkable acoustics of our historic spaces, these instruments create a beautiful setting for worship and music.
Concerts & Performances
Sharing the Gift of Music With Our Community
Music at St. Paul's extends beyond Sunday worship.
Throughout the year, our church welcomes accomplished musicians, choral ensembles, and community performers for concerts and special musical events.
From chamber music to inspiring choral performances, these gatherings bring people together through the shared experience of music.
