Students can be prepared for Confirmation, one of the sacraments of the Episcopal Church. During the Eucharist, they may serve at the altar or as ushers, sing in the choir, and offer their musical skills in our worship. Youth are encouraged to be active in the life of the Church and their own communities, striving to be the hands and feet of Jesus in the world. Scroll down to learn more about all the ways you can get involved!

Music Ministry

Do you love singing? Are you a musician? We encourage you to offer your musical gifts in a few different ways!

To learn more about our music ministry, email Mary Jodice, Director of Music at St. Paul’s.

Ushers

As an usher, we are the first to “Welcome” parishioners and newcomers to St. Paul’s. We inclusively welcome everyone into our church. Ushers play many important roles, from the initial greeting to bringing the gifts to the Altar, to passing the Offertory plates, to ushering those receiving Communion, and finally cleaning the pews at the end of the service. We hope you will join this very important ministry.

Acolytes

Serving as an acolyte is a meaningful way to participate directly in worship. Acolytes assist in our weekly services by carrying candle torches during our procession, Gospel reading, and recession. Additional duties may be carried out during our High Holy services of Christmas and Easter.
