Racial Justice and Equality

Rooted in Love. Committed to Equality.

At St. Paul's, we believe every person is created in God's image and deserves to be treated with dignity, compassion, and respect.

Following the example of Jesus, we are committed to building a community rooted in love, justice, and inclusion. Through learning, reflection, and meaningful conversation, we seek to better understand one another, challenge prejudice, and help create a more just and welcoming world.

St. Paul's Anti-Racism Awareness (SPARA)

Learning Together. Growing in Understanding.

St. Paul's Anti-Racism Awareness (SPARA) is a book discussion group dedicated to exploring racial justice, systemic racism, and personal prejudice.

Through thoughtful reading and open conversation, participants deepen their understanding of racial inequality and consider how faith calls us to respond with compassion and action.

The group has traditionally met virtually every other week and is currently on a break.

Interested in learning more? Contact Fr. Jarred for information about SPARA and future opportunities to participate.

Resources for Learning & Reflection

Continuing the Conversation

Understanding racial justice is an ongoing journey. We encourage our community to explore resources that inspire reflection, deepen awareness, and encourage meaningful action.

The Church of the Heavenly Rest in New York City offers a collection of anti-racism resources for further learning.

LGBTQ+ Inclusion & Gender Equality

All Are Welcome. All Are Valued.

St. Paul's is a community of welcome, inclusion, and belonging. We believe people of all sexual orientations and gender identities are gifts to the Church and are fully deserving of love, dignity, and affirmation.

Rooted in Scripture and the teachings of Jesus, our faith calls us to embrace one another with compassion, celebrate our differences, and create a church where everyone can participate and belong.

You are welcome here, exactly as you are.

Living Our Faith Through Love

Our commitment to justice and equality is part of our calling to follow Jesus. We believe faith is expressed not only through what we believe, but through how we treat others and care for our community.

Together, we continue to learn, grow, and work toward a world shaped by love, understanding, and justice.
